We want happy customers, not captive ones. Canceling directly inside our products is straightforward.

How to cancel

Account owners can cancel on their own. Follow the in-app instructions for your Readinote services. If you are unsure who the account owner is, contact us and we will reach out to any owners we have on file.

What happens when you cancel

• Except for certain paid subscriptions that run to the end of the paid period, once you cancel you cannot access the account, so export anything you need first. If you keep using a paid plan through the paid period, access ends automatically when that period expires.
• We delete account content from active systems within about 30 days of cancellation and from backups within about 60 days. Deleted data cannot be recovered after that window.
• Billing stops when you cancel. We do not automatically prorate unused time, but if you have barely used the account or just started a cycle, reach out for a fair refund—we will treat you right.

Northvane Technologies LLC-initiated cancellations

We may cancel accounts after extended inactivity:

• Free accounts: after 365 days of inactivity.

We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for any reason, as described in our Terms of Service
